1.I am interested in utilising the services of 981 Cleaning what are the next steps?

Once you have accepted our quote we will prepare a full cleaning schedule which will outline the services that we have agreed to provide for you. Alongside this is our Service Agreement which you will need to read, sign and return to us. Once we receive this document we can begin our cleaning service and look forward to a long and happy partnership with you!

2. Are you insured?

Absolutely. We have appropriate business insurance covering our services. Any limitations to this will be outlined in the services agreement that you sign with us prior to work commencing. A copy of our insurance is available on request. We ask new clients to ensure that they have their own public liability insurance to cover us for working on their premises. 

3. Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes! We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee each and every time we clean. If things aren’t up to scratch, which we hope won’t happen, we will do the clean again, no problem, no charge. 

4. When will the work be completed?

We offer a 24/7 service but the time that we clean your premises will be agreed in advance between us and you to suit your requirements. 

5. How many cleaners will there be?

We offer our services on a ‘job done’ method. This means we are responsible for ensuring the job is done and we will ensure an appropriate staffing level to achieve this. 

6. We’ve got some special surfaces; how do we ensure they are cleaned properly?

Before commencing work for your company, we ask you to complete and return a client questionnaire. On this, you can detail any special requirements. This is then added to your file so that all cleaners working on your premises are fully-informed regarding any special instructions.

7. What are your cleaners like?

All of our cleaners are both experienced and criminal records checked. All are English speaking and professional, courteous and friendly. Andrei, the Director, personally trains all his cleaners to ensure that they are achieving appropriate standards. All of our cleaners are provided with a uniform which they will be wearing whilst on your premises which enables you to identify them easily and provides the corporate image that 981 Cleaning strives towards. 

8. How do you access the premises?

We discuss access requirements directly with you and will follow your requested method. At all times we take your security and privacy seriously. All of our cleaners sign a confidentiality agreement upon being hired to ensure that your privacy and confidentiality is respected. 

9. Does someone need to be present whilst you clean?

No. This will be discussed as part of determining our specific access arrangements for your business before commencing the work.

10. How and when do we pay?

Where working on a regular basis, we issue monthly invoices. The cost of the cleaning is calculated on a weekly basis x 52 weeks per year and then divided by 12 (months of the year) to give a monthly figure. One-off jobs are invoiced immediately upon completion of the work with a 30-day payment term. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or direct debit.

11. What happens if there is a breakage or damage is caused whilst cleaning?

We are fully insured for any damages. 

12. I need extra cleaning services; can you arrange these?

Absolutely. We are happy to provide additional cleaning services as and when you need them. Please call us on 020 3488 0981 or email info@981cleaning.co.uk with your request.

13. If we go ahead and contact you, when will you start?

We’ll start cleaning from the date agreed with you subject to the return of your signed Services Agreement. 

14. What training do your cleaners receive?

All of our cleaners are vetted and chosen because of their experience. In addition, we train our cleaners according to the BICSc standards. Work is supervised and frequently spot-checked by the Director, Andrei, to ensure that standards are maintained to the level that he expects.  Furthermore, for specialised equipment, products e.g. Prochem, or specialised surfaces, we ensure our cleaners are appropriately trained. All cleaners regularly undertake health and safety training to ensure that their knowledge is up to date. 

15. How do we recognise 981 Cleaning staff?

All our staff wear a 981 Cleaning uniform and carry identification. 

16. Who will be checking that the cleaners turn up on time and spend the amount of time at the premises that they are being paid for?

981 Cleaning have invested in a software product called SmartTask which requires the cleaners to check in and out of various locations in a client’s premises using a specific app on their smart phone. This works a bit like a clocking on and off system, but rather than just arrival and leaving, it can monitor time spent in many different areas of a building. 

17. Do we have to have a regular cleaning service?

No. 981 Cleaning can offer a regular cleaning service for those that require it, but we aim to be completely flexible and can offer one-off or ad hoc jobs.

18. How do we terminate our contract with 981 Cleaning?

Should you need to terminate your contract with us, we usually require a 30-day written notice period. However, there is some flexibility with this and we can discuss alternative terms with you when you engage our services.
